This interview with Daehyun Yoon 6th dan, head of the Korea Aikido Federation, was conducted during the Korea Aikido Federation’s 30th Anniversary Event held in Seoul in September 2024.
I reported previously on the event in, which I took part to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Korea Aikido Federation. In spite of the very busy schedule, we managed to fit in an interview with Yoon Sensei, who its founder, and pionneer of Aikido in Korea. One of the most interesting aspects was that Yoon Sensei got the change to clarify the differences between Aikido and the local Hapkido, as well as dispell a few myth that had been propagated.
