This video was filmed during a joint workshop in Tokyo that I gave with Ishi Masato Shihan, Kinoshita Etsuko Shihan, and Yamashima Takeshi Shihan.
I thought a lot about what to show during this class, especially since I didn't want to repeat what Masato Ishi Sensei had so brilliantly demonstrated before me in spite of us being both students of Osawa Hayato Shihan. In the end I decided to go back to an Aikido that I hadn't done for a long time. I thought I would also try to add a comment to explain a little more explicitly the reasons for my choice in terms of Aikido style for this class, and how it fits into the larger framework of my practice. . I hope that doesn't sound too presumptuous. For my part, I liked to put some reflections in this course, a kind of post-mortem. Many thanks to Takamori Okawada for filming the course!
